  • Job Title: Student Pastor

    Full-Time Position

    Location: Goshen Campus — Goshen, IN

    Reports to: Goshen Campus Pastor

    Position Summary

    The Student Pastor provides spiritual, strategic, and organizational leadership for the Student Ministry at the Goshen Campus. This role develops leaders, builds sustainable ministry systems, drives measurable growth in student engagement, and ministers to students and their families. This position is responsible for articulating and executing a compelling vision for Student Ministry.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Articulate and implement a clear vision for Student Ministry aligned with Crossroads mission and vision

    • Maintain a dynamic teaching schedule with Biblically-grounded, Spirit-led messages

    • Recruit, train, and develop adult and student leaders.

    • Create opportunities for students to serve within the church and community

    • Host consistent, engaging events that attract new students and build excitement among current students

    • Build and maintain an organizational structure that provides clarity and support for leaders

    • Continue growing personally in spiritual maturity through prayer, Christ-like character, and dependence on the Holy Spirit

    • Work toward a goal of 250 students in weekly average attendance throughout Thursday and Sunday services

    • Other duties as assigned.

    Skills & Competencies:

    • Ability to create a plan and activate others in the execution of the plan

    • Leadership ability that inspires and disciples others to engage and grow, and leads to the development of leadership/discipleship pipelines to multiply the reach of ministry

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect to large groups, in one-on-one conversations, and everything in between

    • Organizational and problem-solving skills to carry out weekly duties and impact ministry

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

    • Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ

    Work Environment

    • Hybrid workweek, balancing normal office hours and ministry hours outside of norma hours

    • Collaborative, mission-driven atmosphere

    Education & Experience:

    • High School Diploma required, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred

    • Experience in ministry or working with middle school or high school students a plus

    Salary Range

    Competitive and commensurate with experience.
