1. CONNECT with God

Our mission at Crossroads is to CONNECT PEOPLE WITH GOD.  

This is the “Why” behind everything we do.  It’s why we do outreach events throughout the year.  It’s why we are “one church with multiple locations”.  It’s why we go all out all the time.  We create as many opportunities as possible so that we can connect people with Jesus!

This is our response to “The Great Commission” 

“Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. 19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” - Matthew 28:18-20 

Core Value: We are committed to MAKING DISCIPLES.

    We target people for Christ.

    We act with a sense of urgency.

    We CONNECT people with God!

2. CELEBRATE the Change

We believe that God loves you just the way you are, but He refuses to leave you that way.  He wants you to become more like Him.  

In our mission to connect people with God, we continually target outsiders for Christ, and consistently challenge insiders to take the next steps in their faith.  When we see God begin to transform peoples lives, we CELEBRATE THE CHANGE! 

This is our response to “The Great Commandment”

“Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?” 37 Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart (Changes my PASSION), all your soul (Changes my PRINCIPLES), and all your mind (Changes my PERSPECTIVE).’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment.  A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself (Changes my PRIORITIES).’ 40 The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.” - Matthew 22:36-40

John 1:14 - “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.”

    We welcome everyone with Grace.

    We challenge everyone with Truth.

    We CELEBRATE the change!

3. CONTRIBUTE to the Community

We believe that joy and generosity are part of the lifestyle that God has called us to.  

1 Corinthians 9:6-7 says, “Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.  Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”  God has a purpose for everyone and He has given each of us gifts and abilities that we are to use to contribute to the community.  True joy comes from giving, so we are committed to leading the way in generosity with our TIME, with our TALENT and with our TREASURE.   

This is our responsibility in “The Great Community”

“All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer. 43 A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders (Everyone was CONNECTED). And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had. 45 They sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need. 46 They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity— 47 all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people (Everyone CONTRIBUTED).  And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved (Everything was CONTAGIOUS).” - Acts 2:42-47
