Crossroads Community Church was originally incorporated as “Elkhart First Church of the Nazarene” in 1919. At that time, a few members gathered in a room above Woolworth’s Dime Store on Main Street in Elkhart. They were a small, but determined group who believed strongly in the church’s teaching of living a life fully surrendered to God.

By 1995, what started as a small group had grown to 75 people who were quickly outgrowing their space at Concord Middle School. In an effort to reach a greater number of people, Crossroads purchased a plot of land on County Road 17, which now makes up our Goshen Campus and the Crossroads Professional Park.

We have always been laser-focused on the mission of connecting people with God, no matter the circumstance. In 2020, many churches began to decline due to uncertainty about how churches should meet. We made the bold move to offer drive-in services and were able to connect with hundreds of new families in our community. Since then, we have seen exponential growth as people have become engaged with the mission and vision of Crossroads.

Since the beginning, it has been our mission to connect as many people with God as possible — and it is still happening today! With nearly 300 people baptized in the last year, we are celebrating the change that happens when people connect with Jesus! Crossroads has grown from its original group of 37 people to the 2,300 that attend Crossroads each weekend across four locations.
